I had a ball mixing and mastering this entire album for Super American Eagle!
Super American Eagle is a new powerhouse trio featuring Dandy Warhols drummer Brent DeBoer (now based in Melbourne), longtime Courtney Barnett drummer Dave Mudie, and guitarist Bob Harrow of Immigrant Union.
The band came to life just before the pandemic during a spontaneous Immigrant Union gig in New York, where the three played as a stripped-down lineup. The chemistry was undeniable, and from that moment, Super American Eagle was born.
With DeBoer on drums, Mudie switching to bass, and Harrow leading on guitar and vocals, the band has unleashed their debut single, “Yes.” A blistering fusion of noise rock, psych, shoegaze, and sludge, the track erupts from the start and never lets up—building into a wailing, foot-stomping crescendo that demands to be played loud.
